David always says, "I am passionate about art, a painting is so much more than a simple representation of the real world. With painting, the artist can manipulate the colours and the softness of a line to create an illusion of depth better than a photograph ever can".

David grew up drawing and painting everything. He received his first commission by the age of 12. Upon entering the Harris Art College; David discovered portrait painting. Throughout college, David painted portraits of models, classmates and co-workers. David says "~Every face has a story to tell. Human emotions are wide in ranging and I paint portraits that depict these feelings".

David's work is constantly evolving as he combines traditional oil painting techniques with modern mixed media techniques. David's illustrations are first class examples of realism that never fail to impress his wide range of international clients.
