Portraits and caricatures from your photographs
Portrait paintings can be of individuals, couples, parents and children, families, or collegial groups and of animals; pets and otherwise. I try to convey the spirit and character of the individual using various techniques in pastel and energetic balance colour to create artwork that will not just decorate but be a talking point.

I work predominatley in pastel and graphite, if you want your artwork produced in another medium such as oil just drop me a line and we can discuss your requirements.

I aim to show the inner essence of the subject, not just a literal likeness while striving for photographic realism or an impressionistic feel.

Each work of art you will see here is hand painted with care and passion with attention to detail to capture reality completed with emotion to capture the spirit of the subject.

I complete commissions on a wide range of subjects for both commercial clients and individuals, though I specialise in portraiture.
